No Camping Sign

No Camping Sign

The No Camping Sign provides a clear visual instruction that camping is not permitted in a designated area.

Featuring a tent symbol within the recognised red prohibition circle and slash, together with clear NO CAMPING wording, the sign is easy for visitors to understand at a glance.

Where This Sign Is Commonly Used

• Private property
• Car parks and parking areas
• Reserves and recreational areas
• Commercial properties
• Visitor areas
• Access roads and entrances
• Rural properties
• Tourist areas
• Areas where overnight stays are not permitted

Clearly Identify No Camping Areas

Camping in unsuitable or unauthorised locations can create problems for property owners and site operators, particularly where areas are not equipped for overnight stays.

Clearly displaying a No Camping Sign helps communicate the restriction before visitors set up tents or establish a campsite.

Position the sign at entrances, parking areas or other prominent locations where it can be easily seen.

Suitable for Private and Public Areas

A No Camping Sign can be useful anywhere an area is accessible to visitors but is not intended to be used for camping.

For properties where the restriction also applies to campervans, caravans or vehicles remaining overnight, consider using more specific signage alongside this sign.

Materials & Mounting Options

Choose from a range of materials to suit your installation:

• Adhesive vinyl – suitable for clean, smooth surfaces
• Corflute – lightweight option for temporary or short-term signage
• PVC – lightweight rigid sign option
• ACM – durable rigid panel for longer-term installations

Signs are laminated for added durability.

Rigid signs can be installed on walls, fences, posts or other suitable structures using appropriate fixings.

Choosing Your Sign Size

Choose the sign size according to its installation position and required viewing distance.

Smaller signs can be suitable when positioned directly beside pipework or at close-range access points. Larger signs provide increased visibility in larger industrial and processing environments.

Refer to our viewing-distance guide below for help selecting an appropriate size.

For entrances, roadside locations or larger open areas, a larger sign will generally provide better visibility.
